Barino Investments Limited is seeking applications from suitably qualified individuals to fill the position of Legal Affairs Officer.There is a vacancy for a Legal Affairs Officer in an Investment company (Family Office) in Ikoyi, Lagos.
The Legal Affairs Officer provides proactive and pragmatic advice to the Management on all Legal and Trusts/Estate related matters (with focus on the Trust/Estate related matters). He/she will perform variety of legal support and advisory services to an assigned client on behalf of the management.
The individual will manage confidential and /or highly sensitive information on behalf of the company, and as such he/she will act in a confidential capacity and demonstrate a good knowledge of legal terminology and an excellent command of the English language.
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB)Must have been called to Bar
• 5+ years’ experience including significant professional experience in Company Law, Trusts/Estate Law,
finance and other relevant areas of law as may be required.
• Master’s in law (LLM)/MBA Degree will be an added advantage
• Being a member of Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN) or similar
institutes will be an added advantage
• Proven work experience in an investment industry/financial background will be an added advantage.
• Experience in Intellectual property, Content management and Licensing will be an added advantage
