Responsibilities
- Strategically plan and manage logistics for excellent customer services
- Loads or co-ordinate the loading of delivery vehicles with products
- use IT systems to manage delivery times and transport costs
- use associated information systems to coordinate and control the order cycle
- Work with other fulfillment staff to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Ensure that company transport vehicles are maintained in good working conditions.
- Develop cost reduction initiatives while maintaining productivity and quality.
- Plan vehicle routes and schedule deliveries to meet customer needs.
- Use specialist knowledge, such as mechanical-handling systems, to provide consultancy services when required
Requirements
- Proven working experience as a Logistics Manager or related field
- The ability to drive vehicle and tricycle (with a valid driver’s license)
- Demonstrable ability to learn
- Understanding of the road network and routes in the city (Ibadan, Lagos, )
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
- OND Holder in Logistics/Supply Chain or related fields
