Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for driving a clean and functional vehicle, regularly inspecting it and scheduling maintenance when needed.- Complete pre- and post-trip safety and operations checklists and documentation
- Transport assigned passengers or items to and from designated locations in a timely and safe manner while adhering to all traffic laws and company safety regulations
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the local area and the most efficient routes.
- Refuel vehicles and make sure they are always ready for use.
- Represent the university in a positive and professional manner when interacting with customers and the public.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record for at least one year
- Ability to drive for extended periods
- Firm commitment to safety
- Excellent navigational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Minimum academic qualification of Senior School Certificate
- Willingness to run night shifts when necessary
