Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals according to the agreed menu, with a focus on delivering excellent taste and presentation.
  •  Create menus encompassing various types of cuisine, including international dishes, savory and sweet options, pastries, and bread.
  • Accurately follow instructions and recipes to ensure consistent and high-quality meal preparation.
  • Forward plan menus and stock items to ensure efficient purchasing
  • Excel in kitchen maneuvering, demonstrating efficiency and attention to detail.
  • Multitask effectively to manage multiple orders and tasks simultaneously.
  • Utilize diverse cooking techniques and ingredients to enhance the culinary experience.
  • Continually develop the menu to ensure variety and use of seasonal products.
  • Shop for fresh and high-quality ingredients, utilizing all purchasing options, including the school’s procurement department.
  • Ensure the house kitchen is always kept spotlessly clean and well-stocked.
  • Keeping a record or all orders, expenditure, and associated receipts for weekly submission
