Job Purpose Statement

  • Responsible for sales planning and developing Retail Sales & Operations strategies that drive standardization and innovation that establishes the business as the leader in redefining the role of retail touch points.
  • Set up, train agents on how to operate and entrench capacity building in the Retail space and resources for our lottery products, to meet market demands.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategies for agent acquisition such as a referral scheme etc.
  • Develop agent retention strategies such as re-investment into agent empowerment.
  • Develop and implement a feedback mechanism which gives insights from the company owned shops and customers with a view to understand and identify business critical issues to ensure the alignment of tactics and strategies.
  • Maintain adequate agent training and constant communication.
  • Conduct competitor intelligence and environmental scan analysis.
  • Tracking and reporting on improvement of turnover and profit for both company owned shops and franchise agents.
  • Provide regular qualitative work reports.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong analytical and administrative skills
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (other presentation software a plus)
  • Organizational and multitasking skills
  • Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills

Required Qualifications / Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Strong sales skills and knowledge of retail business
  • 5 or more years of Retail and Channel commercial experience with at least 2 years spent in supervisory role
  • Experience working in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
