Sales / Operations Manager at Lavita Group

Responsibilities

  • Sales Management: Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve company sales targets. This involves identifying potential clients, building and maintaining customer relationships, negotiating contracts, and closing sales deals.
  • Market Analysis: Conducting market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and evaluate market trends. This includes analyzing competitor activities, monitoring industry developments, and identifying potential risks or challenges.
  • Operations Management: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company’s petroleum oil and gas activities. This includes managing supply chain logistics, inventory control, production planning, quality assurance, health and safety compliance, and cost management.
  • Cost Control/Profitability Improvement: Implementing cost-cutting measures and optimizing operational processes to improve profitability.
  • Team Leadership: Leading a team of sales representatives or operational staff by providing guidance, coaching, performance evaluation, and fostering a positive work environment. This also involves setting objectives for the team members to achieve overall business goals.
  • Customer Satisfaction/Retention Rate: Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction leading to repeat business and customer loyalty.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborating with senior management to develop long-term business strategies that align with company goals. This includes setting sales targets, forecasting revenue projections, budgeting resources accordingly for operations management activities.
  • Relationship Management: Building strong relationships with key stakeholders such as customers, suppliers/vendors/suppliers/, regulatory authorities (government agencies), industry associations) to ensure efficient operations as well as maintain positive reputation & customer satisfaction.
  • Market Share Expansion: Increasing market share by leveraging new business opportunities through strategic partnerships or expansion into new markets.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Preparing regular reports on sales performance metrics including revenue generation trends/dynamics by products/geographies/customer segments etc., operational efficiency metrics like production volume/costs etc., market trends & competitor analysis report etc.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc in related field.
  • At least 5 years experience in Down Stream Oil and Gas Sector , bulk petroleum trade, retail petrol stations and door-2-door delivery of automotive gas oil.
