Job Description

  • Setting up tables before service with appropriate utensils, napkins and decorations.
  • Ensure customers have all the appropriate tableware they need to properly enjoy their food.
  • Uphold sanitation and food safety principles.
  • Deliver food orders to customers quickly and accurately.
  • Ensure quality and proper presentation of food in a timely manner.
  • Check in with customers to ensure their experience is satisfactory.
  • Anticipate and respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely manner, communicating with the Manager/Supervisor on duty of all guest comments and concerns.
  • Promptly delivers each request as it is prepared to the correct table and in order.
  • Relay reports of customer satisfaction to the floor manager or supervisor on duty.
  • Removes guest’s dirty dishes and utensils and deliver to dish washing area.
  • Clean up spilled food or drink or broken dishes and remove trash.
  • Extend a courteous, friendly, and professional greeting when guests arrive, continue graciousness throughout their dining, and proper thank you and departure comments as they go, ultimately inviting them back.
  • Complete all side duties including setting table, folding napkins, preparing condiments, filling salt, pepper and sugar containers.
  • Carrying out additional responsibilities as required.

Requirement

  • Knowledge of company meals is a must.
