Roles and Responsibilities
- Directly supervise and evaluate a team of drivers, providing guidance, training and mentoringas a first-line supervisor.
- Develop strategic plans for efficient fleet management and operation models.
- Oversee the maintenance, servicing, and repair of the company’s fleet to ensure optimal efficiency.
- Develop asset management procedures for fleets and equipment, from acquisition through dispose.
- Manage relationships with vendors, clients and other partners to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance and repairs.
- Research fleet efficiency and recommend cost-saving approaches.
- Provide reports to management on budgeting, schedules, maintenance and progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in fleet management.
- Proximity to Leki-Ajah environs.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
