Travel & Tour Marketing/SalesOfficer at Dangi Travels

Responsibilities

  • Generate and maintain customers of the travel trade segment through various sales activities like face-to-face sales, telesales.
  • Support in creating marketing strategies.
  • Ensure compliance in all aspects of travel procedures
  • Negotiate contracts or rates with travel service providers
  • Use sales and marketing skills, such as determining potential markets
  • Implement and execute all sales objectives and action plans to reach and exceed set targets
  • Developing a good relationship with clients by providing support, information and guidance.
  • Promote and produce sales leads for Dangi Tourism within its respective areas
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conference
  • Identify the prospect’s need and being able to provide a solution to such needs.
  • Being a team player by contributing to the teams effort related to the result as needed
  • Use operations management skills, such as establishing work plans and objectives
  • Research new products

REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Financial management skills
  • Leadership Ability
  • Knowledge of international travel regulations, customs and currencies
  • An analytical mind with strong business acumen
  • Customer-oriented approach
  • Experience in the Nigeria travel and tourism sector will be an added advantage.
  • Marketing and Selling skills
  • Proficient in Hausa Language is an Asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience in an IATA-registered travel agency is an asset
  • Certification in registered IATA courses will be of great advantage.
