Job Description

A good Sales Representative must excellent verbal communication that enables them to connect with consumers and persuade them to purchase company products or services. They have a personable nature and genuinely care abouttheir clients. This combination ensures clients continue to feel valued by a business and want to renew their contracts.
Further, a good Sales Representative understands the importance of learning about company products or services to describe their benefits to callers better. They demonstrate this by purchasing company products or services and telling callers about how they use them in their daily life. A good Sales Representative also understands when to ease up with their sales tactics if a caller doesn’t seem as perceptive to a particular product or idea.

Responsibilities

  • Be knowledgeable about the product
  • Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion
  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs
  • Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems
  • Answer questions about the products
  • Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements
  • Collaborate with colleagues in many different sectors
  • Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
