Junior Sales Associate at HR Aid

We are looking to hire a Junior Sales Associate for our client, a luxury fashion brand in Lagos.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers with a warm smile and professionalism, creating a positive and inviting atmosphere in the store.
  • Assist customers in identifying their style preferences, sizing requirements, and fashion needs.
  • Provide personalized product recommendations and styling advice to enhance the shopping experience and drive sales.
  • Tagging and ringing up items.
  • Respond to clients’ requests at least 15 minutes upon receipt of messages.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the garments, including fabrics, designs, and brand heritage.
  • Assist with merchandising efforts, including replenishing stock, arranging displays, and ensuring the visual presentation meets the company’s standards.
  • Support the sales team in achieving store sales targets and individual performance goals.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system, including handling cash and credit card transactions.
  • Build strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional service, personalized follow-up, and attention to their preferences.
  • Capture customer data and maintain client records.
  • Assist in hosting in-store events, and shopping experiences to foster client loyalty and engagement.
  • Inform clients of any extra charges if necessary.
  • Assist with daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and monitoring inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless and efficient shopping environment for customers.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to customer service, safety, and security.
  • Provide reports as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • Minimum of 2 years Relevant experience in similar role, in Retail and Fashion
  • Outgoing and engaging personality
  • Ability to plan and prioritize workload.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Proactiveness
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft package

  • 1% Commission on Sales made.
  • Loan application upon the completion of 12 months of full-time employment.
  • The working hours are 10.00am – 6.00pm (Mondays – Saturdays). You are required to work 5 days a week.
